She checked with her boss, and said yes, one $ a minute. The massage was good, painting great, and afterwards she asked the usual -want a manicure- thing to which I said no.but on a whim, I asked if they do hand massages. Don't deny it! All you salon pedi peeps are Just. (Go ahead and judge Yelpers, but the person who takes care of their own feet, paints their own feet. I am just crazy lazy about foot care, hate socks, and had let these heels of mine grow their own colony of plant life. Were my heels totally smooth afterwards? Nope. I mean, it was like grating stone a serious forearm workout if there ever was one. My poor heels though.the cheese grater had to come out. She even avoided a tender area on one of my feet, which was a relief. This basic went beyond what I've had at other similar salons, which is always appreciated, and she was extremely thorough w/ clipping the nails, cleaning the beds, and trimming the excess skin. (Prompt: )My pedicurist quickly got down to business, gave me a list of their options ($20 for a basic ped, no massage, $25 w/ massage.to the point: ) and I selected the $25 option. This left the row of pedicure chairs open, and even w/ the packed manicure mavens, I was given a chair immediately. It's clear this place is a magnet for elaborate manicures: it was packed, w/ a few ladies patiently waiting. The salon itself is a little rough around the edges inside (and out), but don't let that fool you. I, like many of my fellow lads and ladies of leisure, love a well done pedicure and have nothing but praise about Relax Nail. But for me, a good deal and good work matters more than some fancy looking spa when it comes to pedicures, and Relax Nails offers both. (Accommodating: )I will most likely check in with them again as they had a wide array of pedi/mani options (pedicures went as high as $55, all whistles and bells for that.wouldn't be surprised if your nail polish sang to you when you walk out the door) and am happy to have found a competitively priced salon in my neck of the woods.SIDENOTE: if you prefer a visually meticulously clean nail salon, one with no scuffs on the wall or any sense of character, look elsewhere. So.I had 10 minutes done for each hand and arm, and it was awesome.
